TCF Global assisting designers across the globe
Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of Western Australia Inc (TCFWA) extends an invitation to you and your organization to partner with our community based project TCF Global www.tcfglobal.com
This unique concept of a global fashion network TCF Global is to assist small and emerging fashion designers to source a network of fashion support organizations that can direct or assist with small run manufacturers, raw materials, fashion incubators, TCF / fashion designer associations, fashion weeks, trade exhibitions, festivals, fashion competitions and events that would assist a new designer and/or small volume independent fashion designers to link with suitable businesses or organisations around the globe. Networks have already been established with TCF Sri Lanka and TCF Bali.
TCFWA is also looking to connect with TCF Global Village Community Projects that may showcase selected village community projects in your country that could link with international fashion organisations or designer networks that may include local micro finance organisations, Business Enterprise Centre’s, small business centre networks, NGO’s, BPW and international service clubs with the goal to assist women to start a small sewing business in your country. e.g. TCFWA have partnered to establish TCF Ormoc, Philippines with 21 community sewing centre’s to assist women and men to start their own sewing business with donated sewing machines, textiles and sewing items.
TCF Global is calling on any groups that assist emerging designers with TCF support and services available in your country such as: fashion incubators, TCF & designers industry associations, sourcing web sites, small manufacture associations, agents associations, small business centre networks, fashion trade events, fashion competitions & events open to international designers in your country * More importantly the web links that will be listed on the TCF Global web site will be those organizations or groups that are supportive to receiving requests, enquiries and orders from new and/or emerging fashion designers who may require much smaller production orders than medium or larger size companies.
TCF WA Inc is a not for profit community organisation established by founder and manager Carol Hanlon in 1998 and has developed a long list of fashion TCF small business projects assisting new and emerging fashion designers across Australia and globally. The need for the establishment of the TCF Global web site has developed through enquiries received to provide an ease of access to new and emerging fashion designers who have limited time, resources & knowledge to research the relevant global TCF & fashion information required to assist them in their journey of fashion business growth & development.
