This fall AFi will host the Second International Conference of Fashion Incubators. Industry and fashion experts are gathering in Atlanta, GA, USA for a thought provoking two day conference at the W Hotel - Buckhead.  The first conference, held in 2007 in Rochester, UK, aimed to examine the role of incubators in nurturing new fashion businesses and encouraging creativity.  The Atlanta Fashion Incubator's raison d'etre is to provide an international forum for the exchange of new ideas and perspectives on fashion and business education at the incubation level.  This year's conference is designed to develop strategies for our mutual success, a platform of best practices, a communication network, economic development and a potential exchange program. 
 
The Atlanta Fashion Incubator has extended invitations to fashion incubators and other organizations that nurture emerging designers from around the world. We have also reached out to cultural associations, convention and tourist bureaus, city governments, retailers, independent fashion designers and the plethora of creative industries that support them.

The Atlanta Fashion Incubator (AFi) is a 501(c)(3) non profit small business resource center dedicated to supporting and nurturing fashion designers. Our mission is to ensure emerging entrepreneurial fashion design companies grow into self-sustaining businesses by providing industry specific education, sourcing, marketing and business consulting services.
